Jessamyn Tournier. Bathroom Tile. October 13th , 2017.
have a confession to make: I’m a certified #tilephile. I am over-the-moon passionate about tile. I love looking at it, talking about, shopping for it and pinning it. I even married a tile guy (no joke). And lately, I just can’t get enough of all the fresh, gorgeous bathroom tile trends I’ve been seeing in my newsfeeds.
It doesn’t get much more luxurious than a marble bathroom. Here, marble tiles envelop the space, continuing from the floor all the way up the walls. In the shower, a wall of taupe, hexagon-shaped tiles adds warmth and interesting texture.
One day you’re loving subtle lace accents and the next day … doilies everywhere. Yikes. Maybe you prefer black in generous amounts, so you accidentally turn your home into a dark abyss. Your go-to design choices can easily cross the line from a fun proclivity into too much, so it’s essential to seek out materials that let you break up the monotony, like fun, unexpected tiles.
Sporting various hues of brown, black and amber, tortoiseshell-inspired tiles look warm and slightly woodsy in this bathroom. A wood vanity, copper sink and mirror hung from a leather strap round out the space’s naturally elegant look.
