Integrated sinks have wide, flat edges that are designed to fit flush with countertop materials—typically tile—to provide a smooth transition between the sink and surrounding surfaces. Some are available pre-made from manufacturers of solid surface materials, and a solid surface sink is seamlessly combined into a countertop of various lengths.
Undermount sinks are slightly higher in price than drop-in sinks, but they have a similar style, with one exception—they sit flush on the surface of the vanity, whereas drop-in sinks fit over the lip of the hole in the vanity. These sinks are also available in a wide range of styles and materials, including porcelain and metal.
Vessel sinks are considered a stylish, high-end and expensive option—these "floating" sinks sit like a bowl on top of a vanity countertop and are available in all manner of materials, from glass to porcelain to metal.
Double bathroom sinks create greater efficiency in a shared bathroom, and they can also improve a home’s resale value significantly.
